Education, health care and family support for Service Members wounded while serving their country.

Air Force Wounded Warrior Program (AFW2) This is a government resource
Assigns a family liaison officer and provides transition assistance, case management, civilian job search assistance and help with filing of VA disability claims.
Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2) This is a government resource

Provides individualized support to severely wounded, injured and ill soldiers and their families. Soldiers are assigned to a Warrior Transition Unit or an AW2 Advocate and receive services to assist with career, education, finances, health care, insurance, retirement, transition and more.

Wounded Warrior Regiment This is a government resource

Provides assistance to wounded, ill and injured marines, sailors and their families throughout the phases of recovery. Telephone assistance is available toll-free by calling 1-877-487-6299.

Navy SAFE HARBOR Command - Severely Injured Support This is a government resource
The Navy's non-medical case management program for wounded, ill and injured sailors and their family members, which supports and assists sailors through recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration.
Army Warrior Care & Transition Office This is a government resource
Provides strategic direction and develops plans, policies and resources for warrior care initiatives and programs dedicated to the support, care, and healing of wounded, ill and injured soldiers.

Provides links to resources for warrior care, including service programs, DoD and VA resources, news and events, and more.
Federal Recovery Coordinator Program This is a government resource
DoD, VA and Department of Health and Human Services program that links seriously wounded and ill Service Members, Veterans and their families to services in support of their recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration.
Community of Veterans

Designed as a resource to connect Veterans with Veterans to help them transition into civilian life easier. A joint effort of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and the Ad Council.

Army Well-Being Wounded Soldier Information This is a government resource

Links to resources for wounded soldiers, including the CSA Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-984-8523.

Wounded Warrior Resource Center This is a government resource

Provides wounded Service Members, their families and caregivers with helpful information regarding military facilities, health care services and benefits. Toll-free assistance is available by calling 1-800-342-9647.

Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) This is a government resource
Provides needs assessments, assistive technology (AT) and training free of charge to wounded service members in support of their recovery, rehabilitation and transition to employment.
Marine for Life This is a government resource
Provides assistance to transitioning marines with employment, veterans benefits, education and community information, and provides links to service organizations and more.
Operation Proper Exit
Offers full-paid trips to take wounded soldiers back to Iraq to help them achieve psychological closure as well as wellness, quality of life and sports-based initiatives at no cost to military personnel and their families.
Operation Mend

Established to treat military personnel wounded during service in Iraq and Afghanistan. During their time away from home, Operation Mend provides Buddy Families who share their homes with the Service Members during their time in Los Angeles.

Quality of Life Plus

Identifies the challenges of those who have been injured and works with teams of university students and faculty to solve these challenges so individuals with disabilities can live, work and play unassisted.

G.I. Go Fund
Provides transition assistance to Veterans to include educational assistance, emergency financial assistance as well as guidance through the VA process.
